Wilderness atmosphere on a packraft in Aalisjoki. Book a tour now!
Aalisjoki is a wilderness river about 20 km long, which originates from Aalisjärvi near Aalistunturi and flows into Konttajärvi. The river is home to a rare colony of European beavers in Finland, and seeing beavers during the trip is very possible. The river is easy to paddle, except for two more demanding sections of the rapids (Pitkäkoski and Pahtakoski), which can be bypassed by walking along the shore if necessary. With Packraft, this is easy, as the raft can be emptied and rolled onto the backpack.
A guided canoe trip is a safe and easy way to enjoy Lapland's summer with the help of a guide. Packrafting is one of the best ways to move leisurely on the water and admire the surrounding nature. The trip requires mastering the basics of paddling (kayak or packraft), before the trip we familiarize ourselves with packraft management and the safety instructions for paddling. Before the more demanding rapids, we have already paddled about 10 km, so these too will probably be passed by paddling.
